Geotechnical Data Management Quarry Services Design & Construction Phase Services
Our client required a 3D geological model to be created from historic drillhole and geophysics data to understand the quality within a variable deposit, and a mine plan to be produced using this model to understand overburden and waste rock volumes associated with development plans targeted to gain access to areas of higher quality rock.


Services provided:

  • Review of historic geological and borehole data and 3D modelling of deposit quality (basalt & conglomerate)
  • Design of staged, volumetric Mine Plan and 3D excavation models to inform overburden movements and quarry development.
  • Design and geotechnical assessment of waste dumps
